Mr. Over/Under: Green Bay -3.5 over the Chargers

Last week Green Bay was a 5-point favorite at Kansas City and covered. This week the Packers travel out west where hundreds of business and homes seem to be burning to the ground every day. EDITORIAL COMMENT: “I’d rather be stuck inside during a snow storm, than watch my house burn down.”
The Packers are only 3.5 favorites against a team that has a poor offensive line and is not as good as the Chiefs. Green Bay is undefeated on the road and the Chargers have lost 3 of their 4 home games. I expect this line to up, so grab it early.

Man in Stripes: Florida +6.5 over Georgia

Kyle Trask has 13 TD’s and has averaged 34 points a game. This is a big party in Jacksonville formally known as the “world’s largest outdoor cocktail party”. The wrong team is favorite in this one. This game is a field goal game. I will take the Gators plus 6.5. Look for the Gators to put 7,8 in the box to stop the one. Georgia is one dimensional on offense. Georgia has slept walk through the last few weeks going 1-3 ATS with a bad home loss to South Carolina.

Mono: Buffalo Bills -10 over Washington

Bills coming off a rough stretch defensively these past few weeks. This is a good spot for them to tighten up before a showdown with the Browns. Redskins aren’t a team to overlook, but Vegas is back to reality with the lines. Buffalo -17 against Miami was absurd. Minus 10 against Washington is more realistic. Expect the defense to give up 10 at most and the Bills score 20+.

Brutal: Indiana -10.5 over Northwestern

Indiana is already bowl eligible. This team is much improved. This is the worst Northwestern team under Pat Fitzgerald. This Indiana team could be ranked after this game. This is the year for the traditional basketball schools. Both the Hoosiers and the Kansas Jayhawks are much better. Northwestern has lost five in a row and haven’t won a Big 10 game all year.

Bob Gaughan: Central Michigan +1 over Northern Illinois

Northern Illinois is not the same team that we have come to expect from the last several years. They lost their head coach to Temple and come into this game only 2-5 vs Division one opponents. Central Michigan is much improved with former Florida coach Jim McElwain. CMU won only one game last year and has already won five this year. Chips have one of the best running backs and wide receivers in the MAC. Wrong team is favorite in this one.
