College

LSU -7 over Miss State
Arden Key one of the best players in the country should be back for LSU in this one. LSU has had big leads at halftime in their last two games against MSU. Nick Fitzgerald only rushed for 13 yards last year vs LSU. Slight lean towards LSU.

Clemson -3 over Louisville
This is a 3 star play for power sweep subscribers. Clemson has a great defensive line and they are going up against a poor offensive line from Louisville. Clemson had 11 sacks last week against a veteran offensive line of Auburn. Take Clemson.

Pro

Tennessee -1.5 over Jacksonville
Jacksonville defense is tough but they played a poor offense last week in Houston. Chris believes Tennessee will bounce back after a tough loss to Oakland last year.

Green Bay +2.5 over Atlanta
Rematch of last year’s NFC title game. Atlanta didn’t look great last week in Chicago. Will Atlanta’s offense have the same success this year without Kyle Shanahan (now SF coach)? Slight lean towards Green Bay.

Panel

Man in Stripes
Tennessee +5.5 over Florida
Florida is still without their nine players they suspended for week 1 match-up against Michigan. Florida offense looked horrible gaining only 154 yards vs Michigan. Tennessee has the better QB in Quinten Dormady. This series has been known for close games. In a game I see as a toss-up I like the 5.5 points.

Mono:
New England and New Orleans over 56 points
Both teams lost in Week 1. If you watched the games both teams moved the ball up and down the field. Tom Brady and New England scored 27 points against a good KC defense. NE was stopped twice on downs in KC territory. NO left a ton of points on the board Monday night. Brees had to settle for four field goals in a loss to Minnesota. Both teams are capable of scoring 30-40 points. Take the over.

Slick:
Friday night South Florida -17 over Illinois
This is the first road game of the year for Illinois. Charlie Strong has taken over a very good USF team. This is the first and only game USF will play against a power 5 team. USF will try to make a statement in this one and run away with a victory.

Brutal:
Duke -14 over Baylor
Baylor is far removed from the power that Art Briles built. Baylor has given up over 500 yards of offense to Liberty and UTSA this year. Baylor lost both of those games at home. Now Baylor has to go on the road to play an improved Duke team. David Cutcliffe has a great offense with a good starting QB. Wallace Wade stadium will be rocking. First road start for a new Baylor QB. Bad news for the Bears.

Bob Gaughan
Ohio State -30 over Army
Army should have lost last week to UB. UB had far superior talent at the skilled positions than Army. The last time Army played a very good power team they lost last year to Notre Dame 44-6. This spread should be 5 to 10 points higher. Ohio State is in a bad mood. Ohio State defensive line very deep and talented and will stop the option after being lit up last week by Oklahoma. Too much speed on offense from JT Barrett and company.
