Fantasy Football Week 13 Tips and Top Players
by J.K. Karlson, Buffalo Sports Page
For most fantasy leagues Week 13 is your last regular season game before the playoffs start next week. There are multiple scenarios you could be in based on how your team has performed this season. You could be kicking ass and taking names and already guaranteed a spot. You could need a win and also for some other teams to lose to jump into the playoffs. You may be out of it totally (have a beer, you’ll feel better). Whatever your situation, you want to play like you’ve got nothing to lose and this week I’m going to give you some of those possible moves.
Unless you have Tom Brady, Carson Wentz or any of the other top 10 studs as QB, you should: Pick up CASE KEENUM (Vikings). He’s continued to heat up each week and is hot enough to count on for your team.
Pick up JOSH MCCOWN (Jets). He’s the 14th highest scoring QB for fantasy points through Week 12. He’s a better bet than Dak Prescott, who is trending downhill along with the rest of the Cowboys. With the exception of Evan Engram, sit anyone who is playing for the Giants. They are a train wreck. This same philosophy can be applied to the Browns, with the exception of Duke Johnson.
Carson Wentz (Philadelphia) Russell Wilson (Seattle) Tom Brady (New England) Kirk Cousins (Washington) Drew Brees (New Orleans) Phillip Rivers (Los Angeles Chargers) Cam Newton (Carolina) Jared Goff (Los Angeles Rams) Marcus Mariota (Tennessee) Matt Ryan (Atlanta)
