Week 17 fantasy championships should be given a lifetime ban. I HATE fantasy football leagues that have their championship in Week 17. It just doesn’t make any sense – you play all season giving your blood sweat and tears, just to leave it up to possibly winning or losing the championship because some teams will be sitting their starters because they already have a comfy playoff spot locked down. Did I mention that I hated fantasy football leagues who go through the last week of the NFL season? My advice to you this week is simply this: make sure you are watching all of your players very closely and reading up about any talk of sitting fantasy all-stars like Todd Gurley (likely to see limited touches, if any) and Alex Smith (Mahomes is starting to give Smith rest).

The Buffalo Sports Page Fantasy League finished last week with BSP Pro Member Ron Carr winning it all. Congrats Ron! Kevin Sylvester and Paul Peck finished very poorly. Get your act together for next year guys! Yours truly finished 3rd, behind fantasy baseball guru Tony Mrozik.
