MR. Over/Under:  CHARGERS -4.5 over Oakland

We’re beginning to see the contenders and the pretenders in the NFL. New England showed us that Miami is a pretender and Cincinnati showed us they’re a contender. The two play each other this week and Cincinnati should dominate the Dolphins. However, I think it’s time for the Chargers, formerly of San Diego, to begin to make their playoff move. The Raiders, future residents of Las Vegas, could be challenging for next year’s number one draft pick. Against the Raiders suspect defense, I like the Chargers -4.5.

Man in Stripes: Hawaii -3 over Wyoming

Can’t believe this line is so low. Josh Allen is NOT walking through the door Cowboys fans. The Rainbows on the island at night with a small number, I love it. Sign me up. QB Cole McDonald has 24 TD passes so far this year. Hawaii’s offense is explosive and Top 20 in the nation. Wyoming is typical Wyoming plodding along, 3 yards and a cloud of dust. I give you a reason to stay up late. Hawaii and lay the 3.

Mono:  Washington State -17 over Oregon State

Washington State coming off a tough low scoring game by their standards in a win against Utah.  Oregon State is one of the weakest Power 5 teams.  I love Mike Leach. The Cougars put up big numbers on the road and shutdown a weak Beavers team.

Slick: Cincinnati -5.5 over Miami

Going back to the well again this week.  I told you last week that Miami was a fraud.  New England was an easy winner over the Fish. Miami is an overrated team. I like Cincy this year and they are clicking on offense. Joe Mixon should be back for this game is an added bonus. The Bengals defense should force some turnovers from Tannehill too.  I like Cincy!

Mr. Brutal: Hawaii -3 over Wyoming (DOUBLE DOWN)

Wyoming is 2-3 and hasn’t won on the road.  Hawaii is undefeated at home and is putting up pinball numbers at home. McDonald’s numbers are unbelievable 156/240 2100 yards and 24TD’s in only 6 games.  Wyoming is going out to the island and adjusting to a new offense without Josh Allen.  This has always been a tough place to play.

Bob Gaughan: Notre Dame -6.5 over Virginia Tech

Count me as a believer in Notre Dame.  This team has a great chance in being in the final 4.  Ian Book was a great switch at QB.  The team has taken off offensively since he has come in. This line started off at a field goal and has gone up to almost a touchdown.  Notre Dame has played a tougher schedule.  Irish wins over Michigan and Stanford are impressive.  The Irish defense is for real!
