New England -8 over Jacksonville
Jacksonville not expected to be here. That’s different from the Pats who seem to have the right to play in this game every year. New England great at home vs the spread this year. New England defense is under-rated.

Philly +3 over Minny
Philly has the home field advantage in this one. Philly’s defense is very stout. Minny is coming off a miracle finish. Like the home dog.

Our Man in Stripes
Toronto Raptors -5 over Spurs
SA is banged up. Leonard is out and Ginobli is questionable. Wouldn’t surprise me if Coach Pop sat others as well. Toronto is playing back to back and needs to get the win in the first one at home. Raptors as healthy as they have been in a long time.

Bonus from Stripes: New England

Mono and Slick Double Down
Minnesota -3 over Philly
The Minnesota defense is the real deal. They should over-power Nick Foles. They ride the miracle last week to a home game for the Super Bowl. Case Keenum gets the edge at QB. Love the people Keenum has around him as well. Minnesota is a team of destiny after last week.

Bonus from Mono: Xavier over Seton Hall Saturday

Under 39 Philly- Minnesota
Two great defenses show up in this one. Two average QB’s show up as well in Keenum and Foles. The Eagles allowed only 281 total yards to the Falcons last week. The Vikings have the best defense in football. I see a very conservative game-plan for both teams.

New England -8 over Jacksonville
Lost in the fact that Jacksonville upset Pittsburgh was that Pittsburgh scored 42 points against the number two defense in football. The Steelers had a few bad calls on fourth and ones or they may have scored more. The corners for Jacksonville may take out the WR’s for NE but no one can take out Gronk. New England this year is 7-2 against the spread and straight up against teams with winning records.
