Mr. Over/Under:  7 point teaser: Dallas +.5 and Houston/Pittsburgh Over 35.5

After 3-weeks in the NFL, only 2 teams have covered the spread each week. Miami, which was our pick last week, and Arizona. Yes Arizona! But I bet you won’t guess which team has gone over the total points all

3-weeks. Would you believe the Chicago Bears? However it’s been their opponents that have really helped that surprising stat. When it appears that Vegas has done a good job on the points spreads, I like to go to a teaser bet, which I’m doing this week. Dallas was embarrassed last week by Arizona, but I still think they’re a good team. The Steelers and the Texans have each scored over 20-points the last 2-weeks and seem to have their offense working.  I’m doing a 7-point 2-team parley teaser with Dallas getting a half-point, and the Houston/Pittsburgh game over 35.5.

Man in Stripes: Miami/Buffalo Over 53

Let’s try to get back in the winners circle in a game we just don’t need to over think!!! How can there not be 60 points in this game? Combined the teams have punted 10 times over three games. The Dolphins are coming off a 70 burger against Denver. The Dolphins team speed at receiver is a problem with Hill and Waddle vs aging safeties Hyde and Poyer. Miami is number one in rushing and passing through three games. Oh, by the way the Bills have Allen, Diggs, Davis, Cook and company vs a very average Miami defense. Throw in a beautiful day in the 70’s in Orchard Park and both teams get at least 27-30 points. Your man in stripes will be there in person. Let’s root for points!! By the way take the over 4.5 adult beverages by yours truly as well as a side play! Squish the fish and enjoy the game!!!

Mano: Georgia -14 at Auburn

Let’s get back to my roots in the college game this week. Auburn is coming off an ugly loss last week in A&M. At 3-1 this one looks good on paper but I think there’s a huge gap between these two programs.  The gap is much larger than 14 points. Hugh Freeze is back in the SEC taking over an Auburn program that needs a little TLC. He’s got Michigan State transfer Payton Thorne under center. In their conference opener this offense struggled to get 200 yards and produced only three points. That’s a recipe for disaster against this Georgia team. The Bulldogs travel to Auburn after wrapping up their non-conference schedule in dominant fashion. Carson Beck has looked the part. From start to finish the Bulldogs team should dominate in every facet. I don’t see how Auburn can score with the offense they showed last week. Six days wasn’t enough time for the Tigers to figure it out. Georgia dominates on both sides of the ball. 45-10 Dawgs.

Brutal:  Syracuse +6.5 over Clemson

Syracuse always plays Clemson tough. The Orange has covered 7 of the last 10 meetings. I love the spot here for Syracuse. They get a Clemson team coming off a heart breaking loss to Florida State. I don’t think Florida State played particularly well in victory. The dome will be rocking this week. Syracuse is coming off an impressive second half against Army. The Orange shut down the Army rushing attack in the second half and cruised to an easy win. I believe with Syracuse you have the better QB in this one. This is the first conference game for the Orange. With a loss here Clemson would fall to 0-3 in ACC games.  Maybe Dabo should try and find someone in the portal next year.

Philly: Kentucky -1 over Florida

I always like taking the unranked team that is a favorite over a ranked team.  In general it is usually a good bet.  This is an old-fashioned slugfest and I like the way Kentucky matches up on both sides of the ball. I expect them to dominate the trenches. The Wildcats have an absolute stud at running back in Ray Davis. He should be able to help his QB Devin Leary and take a little pressure off of him. This is a big spot for Kentucky at home. I think Florida is a little over-rated. I all so believe that their QB Graham Mertz is due for a bad game. Florida’s big win was against a Tennessee team that I don’t believe is as good as their reputation.  The Wildcats at home get the victory!

Bob:  Cleveland -3 over Baltimore

Who’s got the best defense in football?  Is it Dallas? No, the answer through the first three weeks is clearly Cleveland.  In every category, points, yards, first downs the Browns have the best defense.  Here are a couple of amazing statistics.  Through three weeks the Browns have given up only 20 first downs TOTAL. The Browns have had all of ONE play run against them in the red zone. Myles Garrett has 4.5 sacks on the year and is playing like a defensive MVP candidate. The Ravens are getting a little healthier than they were last week, but they are far from 100 percent. As long as it stays at three I can’t see a banged up Ravens team coming and winning in Cleveland. I’m still not a fan of Lamar Jackson when he has no running game and he is forced to pass to win a game.
